AUTHENTICATION OF IDENTIFICATION

An integral part of the process of Customer and Service Provider Acceptance is Identification and
/ or authenticating the identity of the Customer and Service Provider. Identification means identifying the person and verifying his/her identity by using reliable and generally acceptable, independent source documents, data or information.

Customer
Support for customer/service provider identification

Customer and Directors: Certified copy of ID/Passport, proof of address through one of the following: Telephone/internet bill, electricity bill, water bill, confirmation of residence by employer, Title Deed or lease agreement as applicable.

Service Provider (Entity): Proof of address through one of the following: telephone bill, electricity bill, water bill, lease agreement, Title Deed, certified copy of certificate of incorporation as applicable. In case of partnerships; Partnership agreement, particulars of natural persons who are in a partnership and a list of Authorized Signatories with Specimen of Signatures on the Company Letter head.

Additional information may be required for the purposes of Enhanced Due Diligence more especially individuals identified as prominent influential persons by the financial Intelligence Act.

UPDATING YOUR KYC

Whereas KYC is an ongoing risk based process, Sesiro shall, however, ensure that for every biennial renewal cycle there is a comprehensive check on the company’s level of compliance to align with the regulatory CDD requirement.

Did you Know?

KYC is a mandatory regulatory requirement by the Financial Intelligence Act in order to combat Financial Crimes. Sesiro is therefore obligated to conduct KYC on its customers.

Updating Your KYC

The Act requires that KYC information of a customer is to be current all the time. Customers should therefore provide relevant documentations whenever there are changes in their profile ie change of residential address or renewed Identity document.
